Participate in workplace health and safety
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Learn how to effectively respond to workplace health and safety (WHS) challenges involved in direct client care. This training is highly valued by employees in centre-based or home-based care services who need to refresh their mandatory skills and knowledge for work. Stay compliant, informed, and safe.
Understand how to follow safe work practices to protect yourself, clients and others; contribute to the development and implementation of further practices; and reflect on your own practices.
This is a one day only course and can be completed face to face in the classroom. The unit of competency will be delivered in the morning followed by the Manual Handling Refresher in the afternoon.
