Operate and Maintain Chainsaws

Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)

Gain the knowledge and skills you need to efficiently operate a chainsaw and reduce your risk of injury.

Learn how to better understand your chainsaw and gain the maintenance skills you need to keep it operating at its very best.

In this two-day course, you will learn about your chainsaw’s components, their ancillary equipment and functions as well as proper maintenance, storage and transporting procedures.

You’ll also have the opportunity to prepare and use chainsaw aids and equipment safely and identify and demonstrate safety requirements for chainsaw operations, as well as learn about safe, effective work practices and procedures.
