Materials Hoist Licence (HM)

The Materials Hoist Licence Course covers the correct use and monitoring of a Materials Hoist of Safe Working Load > 250kg. This course also includes information about lower capacity “barrow hoists”. Training is aligned to the national standards to ensure that the operator attains the skills required to operate in a High Risk construction environment.

The course is competency based, and is nationally accredited and recognised. Successful applicants who attain the necessary competence will be eligible to apply for a Materials Hoist High Risk Work Licence (HM class) through the local regulator or Worksafe Authority.
