Master of Psychology (Clinical)
Nationally Recognised Higher EducationBecome a skilled clinical psychologist and help people work through difficult times. Our program combines coursework, clinical practice and research to prepare you for registration as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.
Your knowledge of clinical problems in childhood, adolescence and adulthood will become advanced, as well your understanding of evidence-based psychological assessments and interventions and the ethics related to your work. You'll benefit from our strong industry partnerships, which will see you in the field for at least 1000 hours during your studies, including in regional, rural or remote settings. You gain real experience working within our FedUni Community Psychology Services.
Our program is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) and recognised by the Psychology Board of Australia, the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the APS College of Clinical Psychologists.

- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Entry requirements (non year 12)
e encourage people to apply and demonstrate in their application/interview that they have had sufficient practical experience or further study in another discipline that would allow them to manage the requirements of the program. Considerations for applicants in this position may include updating knowledge in professional and ethical knowledge of psychology, testing and assessment or statistical methods.
Students who have completed their undergraduate studies overseas MUST apply to the Australian Psychological Society to have their degree assessed (see www.psychology.org.au/membership/qualifications/). We are unable to consider an application without the degree being recognised by the APS as equivalent to Australian courses.
Completion of an 4 year APAC accredited sequence in psychology.
And a minimum of a credit average in the fourth year.
