Nationally Recognised Higher EducationThe Master of Project Management provides students with an understanding of and advanced analytical skills in the key areas required to manage a project including: integration management, scope management, communications management, risk management, quality management, schedule management, cost management, HR management and procurement management. There is a strong emphasis on extending skills and knowledge and vocational experiences to enable graduates to apply their high-level understanding to real-world problems within any industry.

- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Entry requirements
To gain entry into a Master of Project Management (8595), an applicant must meet one of the following entry requirements:
- Completion of a Bachelor degree with honours in the same or a related discipline* from a recognised institution; or
- Completion of a Graduate Diploma or Graduate Certificate in the same or a related discipline* from a recognised institution; or
- Completion of a Bachelor degree in the same or a related discipline* from a recognised institution; and completion of at least three years relevant full-time professional experience; or
- Completion of a Bachelor degree in a non-related discipline; and completion of at least four years relevant full-time professional experience; or
- Evidence of other qualifications and professional experience to be assessed as acceptable grounds for admission into the program by the relevant Program Authority. In certain circumstances, students may be required to undertake and successfully complete a relevant non-award course as a condition for admission into the program. This non-award course may also be credited towards the program upon admission.
English Language Test Scores
UNSW accepts English language test scores to meet our English language requirements provided:
- You have completed the test no more than two years before your intended start date, and
- You achieve the minimum scores for the Study Abroad and Exchange program. Study Abroad and Exchange students are only required to meet the overall score for IELTS and TOEFL. You do not need to meet each of the subtests as per a full degree student.
- IELTS Academic version only: 6.5 overall
- TOEFL Internet-based Test (iBT): 90 overall
