Master of Professional Psychology
Nationally Recognised Higher EducationThe Master of Professional Psychology consists of coursework (including a major case study) and practical placement. The program develops specialised knowledge and skills for the professional practice of psychology, including ethical and legal practice, assessment, and interventions across the lifespan. The structure provides for the application of learning experiences across these areas. Practicum experiences throughout the program facilitate the practical application of knowledge and develop core skills for psychological practice. Practical training is provided at FedUni Community Psychology Services and external agencies. You will be required to undertake at least 300 hours of practicum experience.

Entry requirements (non year 12)
We encourage people to apply and demonstrate in their application/interview that they have had sufficient practical experience or further study in another discipline that would allow them to manage the requirements of the program. Considerations for applicants in this position may include updating knowledge in professional and ethical knowledge of psychology, testing and assessment or statistical methods.
Completion of an 4 year APAC accredited sequence in psychology.
And a minimum of a credit average in the fourth year.
