Bond’s Master of Professional Psychology will provide selected psychology graduates with a Fifth Year of professional training in psychology.

The degree will incorporate both coursework and supervised training and practice with the aim to provide students with a thorough grounding in professional practice to meet the accreditation standards set by Australian Psychological Accreditation Council (APAC).

On completion of this program, students will be required to seek a further one year of approved supervised practice, resulting in six years of education and training to be eligible for registration as a practicing Psychologist.

Entry requirements

Domestic Students

  • There are no mandated entry requirements.

Admission criteria

Successful completion of a four year APAC accredited sequence within the last ten years, with a GPA of 2.5/4.0 (or 65%-74%) upon completion of the fourth year program. Must also meet additional requirements.

Alternative entry options

Prior Higher Education Study

  • If you have already completed study at a tertiary institution, your application will be assessed based on the subjects you have completed or attempted to complete. If you have completed studies in a field related to this program, you may also be eligible to apply to receive credit towards your Bond qualification.

English language proficiency requirements

  • IELTS (Academic): Overall score 7.0 with no sub score less than 7.0
  • PTE (Academic): Overall score 65 with no Communicative Scores below 65
  • TOEFL IBT: Overall score 94, no scores below 27 Writing, 23 Speaking, 24 for Reading and Listening
