The Master of Planning degree has been designed to equip students with the professional and scholarly education to take a leadership role in statutory town planning practice as well as policy development.

The Western Sydney University Parramatta campus location in the centre of Sydney’s population growth area represents a rich urban laboratory in which to explore the most important urban issues.

Entry requirements

Domestic Students

  • There are no mandated entry requirements.

Applicants must have successfully completed a Bachelor degree in any discipline

Or

Have a minimum of five years full-time equivalent work experience in planning, geography, social science, environmental studies, architecture and landscape studies, urban and regional studies, engineering or public policy.

Applicants seeking admission on the basis of work experience must support their application with a Statement of Service for all work experience listed on the application.
