UNSW’s Master of Environmental Management is a two-year full-time (or part-time equivalent) postgraduate degree that will prepare you for a career that tackles our biggest ecological challenges through change-leadership and sustainability.

In this master’s degree, you’ll learn to think about environmental problems through a number of lenses, forming a deep understanding of the socio-political influences that drive them.

In addition to the program’s key focus on conceptual tools, you will also develop experiential and practical skills to inform ethical and restorative sustainability leadership in a range of professional contexts.

Entry requirements

Domestic Students

  • There are no mandated entry requirements.

A completed Bachelor Degree (or Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) equivalent) in any field from a recognised University or other tertiary education provider. OR

A completed Honours degree in any field from a University or other tertiary education provider (or equivalent). OR

Relevant industry or professional experience within the same industry as the course profile, of at least five years full time or equivalence, demonstrated by a detailed resume.
