Entry requirements

Domestic Students

  • There are no mandated entry requirements.

To be eligible to apply for this course you must meet one of the following entry requirements:

You have completed one of the following qualifications with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5.0:

  • Bachelor qualification (AQF Level 7 or overseas equivalent) in Education.
  • Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma (AQF Level 8 or overseas equivalent) in a relevant discipline. You must also have had adequate relevant preparation since graduation.*
  • Master of Education (AQF Level 9 or overseas equivalent).

Adequate preparation for candidature may be satisfied by means of other qualifications and/or relevant experience but must be assessed and approved by the Head of School of relevant delegate.

English Language Requirements

An IELTS (Academic) overall score of at least 7.5 including a minimum result of 8.0 in both the speaking and listening modules and 7.0 in reading and writing; or

An International Second Language Proficiency Rating (ISLPR) score of at least 4+ in each of the four areas: speaking, listening, reading and writing.
