Master of Commerce (Extension)
Nationally Recognised Higher EducationUNSW’s Business School’s Master of Commerce Extension (MCom (Ext)) is a postgraduate coursework degree that can be completed in two-years full-time. Designed in consultation with industry, this degree prepares you with a depth of knowledge, a breadth of experience, and the hands-on experience needed to succeed across diverse careers in business.
With 14 specialisations to choose from, the MCom (Ext) allows you to study one or two areas of business. You’ll then broaden your knowledge through electives that prepare you for future careers, such as analytics or FinTech.
You’ll be guided by highly reputable academics and professionals, as you explore essential concepts and gain practical experience to enhance your learning. This degree is career-focused from day one.

Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
The degree’s admission requirements are based on you having a recognised undergraduate degree (or equivalent qualification) with a credit average (WAM 65% or higher), as determined by the UNSW Business School.
You may be considered eligible if your undergraduate degree WAM is between 60-64% and your GMAT score is 600 or above.
