Master of Clinical Psychology
Nationally Recognised Higher EducationThis course is designed for those aspiring to become clinical psychologists. It provides a blend of practical experience and research-based education. It integrates on-campus and online learning, which is complemented by both on-campus and external clinical placements.
The industry relevance of the course is ensured by the teaching staff who are all practicing clinical psychologists. Robust clinical skills, are acquired and honed through their expert supervision in our state-of-the-art university clinic and diverse external placements, preparing you for a wide range of areas of clinical psychology practice. Learning occurs through a mix of practical and theoretical methods, fostering a comprehensive understanding of clinical psychology.
The course offers training in professional practice as a clinical psychologist. Uniquely, all academic staff are also experienced, currently practicing clinical psychologists. Through expert supervision in the university clinic, as well as on external placements, students develop strong clinical skills applicable to a wide range of clinical psychology areas of practice.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- IELTS score of 7.00 or TOEFL iBT score of 94.00 or PTE score of 65.00 or its equivalent AND
• Completed Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited Level 1 and Level 2 program in psychology within the last 10 years with at least an upper second class Honours (H2A) or equivalent overall mark AND a minimum GPA of 5.5/7 AND Eligibility for provisional registration with the Psychology Board of Australia AND at least 6 months of relevant work experience in mental health AND an interest in the course and demonstrated understanding of the opportunities present in Clinical Psychology
• obtain registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (AHPRA) as a provisionally registered psychologist
• acquire a Working With Children Check and an Australian National Police Check
• complete a series of NSW Health forms including a Code of Conduct
• demonstrate evidence of protection against a number of specified infectious diseases- IELTS score of 7.00 or TOEFL iBT score of 94.00 or PTE score of 65.00 or its equivalent AND

• demonstrate evidence of protection against a number of specified infectious diseases - Visa requirement: To obtain a student visa to study in Australia, international students must enrol full time and on campus. Australian student visa regulations also require international students studying on student visas to complete the course within the standard full-time duration. Students can extend their courses only in exceptional circumstances.
