Nationally Recognised Higher EducationThe Master of Clinical Psychology (Advanced Entry) is an ideal study option if you already possess general registration as a psychologist or have completed an APAC accredited Master of Professional Psychology and would like to undertake training in clinical psychology as a specialised area of practice.
The Master of Clinical Psychology (Advanced Entry) is a 12 month program which will allow you to acquire the knowledge and skills required for the Level 4 professional competencies in clinical psychology as a specialised area of practice, as specified by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC).
You will undertake advanced training in professional practice, psychological assessment, and clinical intervention. You will also plan, conduct and evaluate a community-based engagement project with a clinical psychology focus.
Completion of this degree will prepare you for the Registrar Program to gain an Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical Psychology with the Psychology Board of Australia.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Recommended study
Applicants must hold current general registration as a psychologist, and have held this registration for at least 12 months, or have completed an APAC accredited Master of Professional Psychology.
To be eligible for entry into this course, applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
Option one:
- Currently hold general registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia, and have held this registration for a minimum of 12 months; and
- Can demonstrate current compliance with Registration Board Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements.
Option two:
- Have completed an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited Master of Professional Psychology or equivalent program, which satisfies the APAC criteria for Level 3 professional competencies in Psychology, and
- Be eligible for registration with the Psychology Board of Australia as a provisional psychologist.
