Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology
Nationally Recognised Higher EducationIf you’re passionate about a profession that focuses on keeping people moving and helping to improve quality of life, this postgraduate course will give you the qualification you need to work as an accredited Exercise Physiologist. Develop, implement and manage physical activity and behavioural programs for healthy clients and clients living with a range of chronic conditions, as you explore how exercise can improve health and wellbeing. Learn about the delivery of exercise, lifestyle and behavioural modification programs to help prevent and manage chronic diseases and injury. You’ll learn how to provide physical activity and behavioural programs for clients with conditions as diverse as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, osteoporosis, depression, cancer, arthritis, respiratory disease and many others.

Entry Requirements
Entry into this course is restricted to those with a course weighted average of 60 in previous study and meet one of the following criteria:
- Registered as an Accredited Exercise Scientist with Exercise and Sports Science Australia
- Completed a course accredited at the level of Exercise Science with Exercise and Sports Science Australia within the last five years
- Undertaken a Graduate Entry Assessment by Exercise and Sports Science Australia to the satisfaction of the Academic Chair.
For Murdoch graduates, completion of B1317 with a double major in Movement Science and Sport and Health Science OR, B1348 OR B1352 meets the requirements for point 2 above.
English Requirements
You must meet a minimum standard in English to study at Murdoch, which for most courses can be demonstrated by providing evidence that you have completed Year 11 and 12 in Australia at any level if you are a domestic student, or through either English proficiency tests, university preparation courses, English language courses, previous tertiary study, or vocational education.
