Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology

This program is accredited by Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) and is designed to extend and supplement the relevant knowledge of exercise science and sport science/human movement graduates. A thorough knowledge of health sciences is integrated with the practical ability to develop and manage exercise programs for the prevention, treatment and ongoing management of injuries, chronic disease and complex conditions. Clinical knowledge, skills and experience are further applied to the completion of a research thesis.

This is a postgraduate program, you are required to complete an undergraduate program in a related field prior to undertaking postgraduate study.

Domestic Students

  • There are no mandated entry requirements.

Entry Requirements (Non-Year 12)

Applicants need to have completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science or equivalent and/or meet the requirements for accreditation as an Exercise Scientist with Exercise and Sport Science Australia.

Advanced standing entry: credit transfer, recognition of prior learning, and complementary credit according to the current University academic regulations.

Applicants need to submit a copy of their current or completed undergraduate transcript, curriculum vitae, and cover letter.

An interview may be required.
