Business Law Major
The business person of today cannot operate successfully without an understanding of the legal and regulatory environment within which they operate. This major includes wide ranging options which provide an attractive choice to students to select from to meet their interests and professional needs in the global context. This major develops skills to enable students to strategically assess, critically interpret and judiciously apply information for decision-making in the contemporary dynamic business environment. The major provides students with an understanding of the impact of regulation and the law to progress a career in the global business environment. Students develop an awareness and understanding of social, legal and ethical responsibilities in business for a sustainable future.

Domestic Students
- IELTS score of 6.50 or TOEFL iBT score of 79.00 or PTE score of 58.00 or its equivalent AND
- Applicants must have one of the following:
• Completed Australian graduate certificate or higher qualification, or overseas equivalent, with more than 75% of all subjects completed at pass level (conceded pass not included)
OR
• Completed Australian bachelor's degree, or overseas equivalent, with a minimum GPA of 5.25/7 with more than 90% of all subjects completed at pass level (conceded pass not included)
OR
• Completed Australian bachelor's degree, or overseas equivalent, with more than 75% of all subjects completed at pass level (conceded pass not included) and one of the following:
◦ A minimum of 4 years full-time or equivalent part-time, relevant post-secondary professional experience
◦ Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) overall minimum score of 550 - IELTS score of 6.50 or TOEFL iBT score of 79.00 or PTE score of 58.00 or its equivalent AND
- Applicants must have one of the following:
• Completed Australian graduate certificate or higher qualification, or overseas equivalent, with more than 75% of all subjects completed at pass level (conceded pass not included)
OR
• Completed Australian bachelor's degree, or overseas equivalent, with a minimum GPA of 5.25/7 with more than 90% of all subjects completed at pass level (conceded pass not included)

◦ Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) overall minimum score of 550 - Visa requirement: To obtain a student visa to study in Australia, international students must enrol full time and on campus. Australian student visa regulations also require international students studying on student visas to complete the course within the standard full-time duration. Students can extend their courses only in exceptional circumstances.
