A sustainable outlook with the ability to use new materials and technologies to create environmentally sustainable buildings. A grounding in architectural history, theory and technology that leads to the creation of innovative architecture.

2-year stream
This stream is available for Semester 1 and Semester 2 intakes.
In order to be considered for entry applicants must meet the following criteria:
- An undergraduate degree in architecture with a weighted average mark (WAM) of at least 65% (University of Melbourne equivalent); and
- A Personal Statement of up to 500 words; and
- A Design Portfolio; and
- Satisfy the University of Melbourne's English Language Requirement.
3-year stream
This stream is available for Semester 1 intake only.
In order to be considered for entry applicants must meet the following criteria:
- An undergraduate degree in any discipline with a weighted average mark (WAM) of at least 65% (University of Melbourne equivalent); and
- A Personal Statement of up to 500 words; and
- A Design Portfolio; and
- Satisfy the University of Melbourne's English Language Requirement
- One design studio subject and one art/architecture/built environment/design history subject at the undergraduate level, or equivalent.
