Licence to Perform Rigging Basic Level
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This unit specifies the skills and knowledge required to safely perform basic rigging work.
Riggers use mechanical load shifting equipment and associated gear to move, place or secure loads, including plant, equipment or members of a structure. Riggers ensure the stability of those members and sit up and dismantle hoists.
Rigging work is undertaken in construction and other industries where load shifting equipment is used to move, place or secure loads.
This course is designed to provide participants with the skills and knowledge to safely perform basic rigging. This unit is based upon the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work.
