Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This unit specifies the outcomes required to perform slinging techniques, including the selection and inspection of lifting gear and/or the directing of the crane operator to safely coordinate the load movement within sight and out of sight of the crane operator.
This unit is based on the requirements of the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work and provides applicants with the knowledge and skills required to obtain a High Risk Licence to Perform Dogging.
