Licence to Operate a Tower Crane

Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)

This unit specifies the skills and knowledge required to safely operate a tower crane. Tower crane work involves a boom crane or a jib crane (with horizontal or luffing jib) mounted on a demountable or permanent tower structure. Self-erecting tower cranes are not included in this unit of competency.
