Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck

Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)

This course provides training in the safe operation of a forklift truck, including determining height and load capacity and shifting loads in a safe manner.

A forklift truck means a powered industrial truck equipped with a mast and an elevating load carriage. A pair or fork arms, or other arms, can be attached to raise a load 900mm or more above the ground. This does not include a pedestrian operated truck or a pallet truck.
