Licence to Operate a Boom-type Elevating Work Platform (Boom Length 11 Metres or More)
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This accredited unit provides the required skills and knowledge to operate an elevating work platform (EWP) with a boom length of 11 metres or more. A person performing this work is required to hold a high-risk work (HRW) licence.
This unit requires a person operating an elevating work platform to plan the work, set up the EWP, operate the EWP, and shutdown and secure the EWP. Your staff will learn on the job from the best in the business giving them the hands-on, practical skills to take on this significant operational responsibility.
This accredited unit will ensure your staff are skilled, confident and qualified to operate a boom-type elevating work platform where the length of the boom is 11 metres or more.
