Licence to drive a multi-combination vehicle

Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET) This unit addresses the knowledge and skill necessary to obtain a Heavy Rigid Drivers Licence. It includes systematic and efficient control of all vehicle functions, monitoring of traffic and road conditions, management of vehicle condition and performance and effective management of hazardous situations.

Entry requirements

Domestic Students

  • There are no mandated entry requirements.
To upgrade to this licence class you must have held a HR licence for at least 1 year or HC licence for at least 24 hours. HR Licence holders are to be deemed competent for HC prior to commencing MC training. (P2 licence holders cannot upgrade to this licence) Additional requirements may apply.
