Introduction to Translating Skill Set
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)To assist those facing challenges in accessing formal T&I training, BIC also provides Skill Set Courses that align with NAATI’s prerequisite requirements for specific credentials.
Getting certified by NAATI requires you to complete formal training in translating and/or interpreting.
A Skill Set Course will cover the following Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) units that provide foundational training in translation and interpreting and is generally taught in mixed-language cohorts.
Graduates of this course satisfy NAATI's prerequisites for sitting the Certified Provisional Interpreter Tests.
