Install, Test and Verify Distribution Underground Cable Installations
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Through the completion of this course learners will acquire the skills and knowledge required to install, test and verify distribution underground cable installations in the electricity supply industry (ESI).
The course passes the skills of cable jointing and terminating and testing of underground cable and electrical equipment and the connection and testing of a customer connection using a range of specialised live working equipment, tools and devices. It also includes verifying the cable installation complies with the work plan and workplace requirements.
