Induction to Leisure and Health

Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)

In this Induction to Leisure and Health course, you will learn skills to support people in meeting their leisure and recreational needs.

The skills and knowledge gained from this course will provide you with the basic and essential knowledge you will need to improve the quality of life opportunities for individuals who experience barriers to participation in recreation and leisure.

Workers may be in residential facilities and community agencies, and day centers, completing specific tasks and functions around leisure and recreation. While workers are responsible for their output, work is usually carried out under direct or indirect supervision and within an organisation’s guidelines.
