Induction to Disability

Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)

This skill set provides a set of skills to support the induction of new workers into a variety of roles supporting people with disability. It also prepares the candidate to respond to the goals and aspirations of people with disability and provide support services in a manner that focuses on improving health outcomes and quality of life, using a person-centered approach. The training can provide a path to becoming a designated support care worker or take the first steps toward career pathways in nursing or community study and work.
