Individual Support - Disability

This skill set will prepare you to provide person-centred support to people with a disability in a range of community services and health contexts.

Learn how to follow and contribute to an individual plan to implement behaviour support strategies and support the ongoing skills development of a person with a disability. Gain skills to facilitate the empowerment of people with a disability and deliver rights-based services using a person-centred approach. You'll also discover how to assist people with a disability to maximise their participation in various community settings to enhance their psychosocial well-being.
