Implant Microchip in Cats and Dogs
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This comprehensive course is best suited to animal attendants, animal management officers, veterinary nurses, and those involved in the microchip implantation of cats and dogs. It involves both theoretical learning and practical training.
Practical assessment includes microchipping 10 live cats and dogs (at least three cats and at least three dogs) under the supervision of a registered veterinarian only.

The RSPCA NSW Training Team offers training in a range of accredited and non-accredited courses.
All our trainers on the RSPCA NSW Training Team have the required training and assessment qualifications and have many years of industry experience. Our trainers maintain current skills by actively engaging in animal care work. The RSPCA NSW Training Team also deliver training to RSPCA NSW staff and other organisations.
Our accredited training is managed through our Registered Training Organisation (RTO code 70238). If you are a student undertaking nationally recognised training, you require a USI (Unique Student Identifier) in order to receive your qualification or statement of attainment. If you don’t have a USI, you will not receive your qualification or statement of attainment.
