The general requirement for admission to postgraduate coursework study at UTS is an Australian bachelor's degree or overseas equivalent.

However, other qualifications and experience may be considered, including:

  • graduate certificates, graduate diplomas or a TAFE diploma
  • substantial work experience, substantiated with letters from employers

  • IELTS (Academic) / IELTS online: 6.5 overall, writing 6.0
  • TOEFL (Internet-based/Home Edition): 79-93 overall, writing 21
  • PTE (Academic): 58-64 with a writing score of 50
  • C1A/C2P: 176-184 with a writing score of 169
  • UTS College Academic English Level 5 (AE5): Pass grade
