Graduate Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning
Nationally Recognised Higher EducationThis program will provide you with an understanding of the ways cities and sites are constructed: physically, socially and environmentally. You will develop the professional skills required to make valuable contributions to the policy, technical and regulatory aspects of urban and regional planning.
This course is for graduates with a bachelor’s degree in human geography, design or related field, seeking a professional education in urban and regional planning. It is also ideal for graduates of the Bachelor of Architecture and Environments.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
A bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney or an equivalent qualification; or
Completion of the requirements of the embedded graduate certificate with a WAM of at least 70.

English language requirements
- IELTS score: A minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
- TOEFL - IBT score: A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
- Pearsons Test of English: A minimum result of 68 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
