If you are a postgraduate student wanting to develop a career in accounting but do not meet the criteria for the Master of Professional Accounting you may consider enrolling in this course. Upon successful completion of this course, you will be allowed to enrol in the Graduate Diploma of Professional Accounting and will receive credit for the units completed in the Graduate Certificate.

Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Entry Requirements:
To gain entry to this course, students must have:
- A non-accounting undergraduate degree in any discipline from an Australian university, or equivalent from an overseas institution; or
- An AQF equivalent accounting bachelor degree received from an overseas institution or organisation, that does not meet accreditation with an Australian Accounting registration body for associate membership purposes, or
- A minimum of five years of relevant accounting experience, or
- A minimum of ten years of relevant business experience.
English Language Requirements:
- IELTS Academic: 6.0 with no individual band score of less than 5.5
- TOEFL Internet-based: Overall score of 75 with no score less than 17
- Pearson Test of English Academic: Overall score of 54 with no score less than 46
Entry Requirements:
To gain entry to this course, students must have:

Relevant business experience is considered to be any experience in the conduct or administration of a business enterprise.

About Central Queensland University
Originally founded in Rockhampton in 1967, as the Queensland Institute of Technology (QIT) Capricornia, CQUniversity Australia was granted full University status in 1992 and now has more than 30 000 students studying online and on-campus across Australia.
