Entry requirements

Domestic Students

  • IELTS score of 6.50 or TOEFL iBT score of 79.00 or PTE score of 58.00 or its equivalent AND
  • Applicants must have one of the following:
    • Completed Australian bachelor's or master’s degree, or overseas equivalent
    OR
    • Completed UTS Graduate Certificate or UTS Graduate Diploma in Property Development with a minimum GPA of 5/7
    OR
    • Completed Australian Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma, or overseas equivalent, in a related field of study with a minimum GPA of 5/7
    OR
    • Completed Australian Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma, or overseas equivalent, in any field of study with a minimum GPA of 5/7 AND A minimum of 1 year full-time, or equivalent part-time, relevant professional experience.
    OR
    • A minimum of 3 years full-time, or equivalent part-time, relevant professional experience in a profession closely related to Urban Planning AND An interest in the course and demonstrated understanding of the opportunities present in Planning

  • Applicants must have one of the following:

  • Visa requirement: To obtain a student visa to study in Australia, international students must enrol full time and on campus. Australian student visa regulations also require international students studying on student visas to complete the course within the standard full-time duration. Students can extend their courses only in exceptional circumstances.
