The Graduate Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety is a professional introductory degree for students holding a recognised undergraduate degree, or equivalent; or a Certificate IV in OH&S plus relevant work experience.

For students wishing to study further, this graduate certificate provides a pathway to the Graduate Diploma and Master of Occupational Health and Safety. All subjects successfully completed are credited towards the next degree.

Entry requirements

Domestic Students

  • There are no mandated entry requirements.
  • A recognised Bachelor degree, or equivalent; or a Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety plus relevant work experience.

CREDIT FOR PRIOR LEARNING

  • All subjects successfully completed in the Graduate Certificate will count as credit towards the Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • On the successful completion of the Graduate Diploma your subjects can be credited towards the Master of Occupational Health and Safety.
  • If you have completed postgraduate subjects in a similar degree at another institution, please provide evidence of the subjects and your results and consideration will be given for credit towards the UOW degree.
