Graduate Certificate in Information Technology
Nationally Recognised Higher EducationThis course is designed for graduates from an IT-related discipline. You’ll learn new applied skills that increase your knowledge of IT and you’ll benefit from an emphasis on professional practice, effective communication, and project management using technical and non-technical means.
You can also select a unit on knowledge management, wireless data communication or data science, depending on your area of focus or interest.
Upon successful completion of this course, you may continue for a further semester and complete the Graduate Diploma in Information Technology Management.

Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Recognised Bachelor's degree (AQF Level 7)Recognition of relevant and current informal or non-formal learning may be used for entry requirements, and should be discussed with the Academic Chair.
English Requirements
You must meet a minimum standard in English to study at Murdoch, which for most courses can be demonstrated by providing evidence that you have completed Year 11 and 12 in Australia at any level if you are a domestic student, or through either English proficiency tests, university preparation courses, English language courses, previous tertiary study or vocational education.
