Graduate Certificate in Emergency Nursing
Nationally Recognised Higher EducationOur Graduate Certificate in Emergency Nursing aims to develop the specialist knowledge and skills required to work closely with patients and their families who are confronted with trauma, accidents or acute and unexpected illnesses.
Our course is designed for registered nurses working in the emergency environment who are looking to advance to clinical leadership roles or build professional practice capabilities.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Admission to the course requires:
- a pre-registration nursing degree from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification; or
- a minimum of five years experience as a registered nurse
In addition you must:
- to be a registered nurse in Australia
- a minimum of one year's experience as a Registered Nurse
- work experience in emergency nursing (the applicant must provide a statement of support from their supervisor or manager in order to undertake the required clinical assessments).
