Graduate Certificate in Cyber Security
Nationally Recognised Higher EducationThe Graduate Certificate of Cyber Security has been designed for students who want to advance their computer science knowledge in this area. This course builds on their undergraduate qualifications or relevant industry experience with a focus on demonstrating and diagnosing flaws in software systems and web applications. A key feature of this qualification is industry-supported project-based learning.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Applicants are required to have one of the following:
- a Bachelor degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline; or
- a non-STEM Bachelor degree, plus 3 years industry experience* in the web development, cybersecurity, software development, or related fields; or
- a non-STEM Bachelor degree, plus a Certificate IV or higher in a cybersecurity-related field;
*Relevant industry experience and evidence of academic capability will be determined by the Head of Academic Unit (or delegate) with reference to School-determined guiding principles. Applicants will be required to submit a curriculum vitae (CV) with their application.
