If you need to know how to use firefighter safety equipment in your workplace, including fire extinguishers, fire reels, and fire blankets, our Firefighting Equipment Course is for you. This course is only for group bookings for up to 12 people at your employer’s site. You and your workmates will receive high-quality training tailored specifically to your own workplace.
Our Firefighting Equipment Course provides practical training in the use of firefighter tools and equipment. Following sufficient instruction and preparation and using firefighters’ personal protective (PPE) equipment, you and your colleagues will have the opportunity to put out actual fires under carefully supervised conditions.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Participants must be at least 18 years of age
They must meet language, literacy and numeracy requirements to:
- Read and correctly interpret workplace procedures
- Complete paperwork relevant to emergencies
- Speak English clearly to explain, describe and verify, at times, complex needs and issues.
