Fell Trees Manually (Basic)
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The course aims to develop knowledge and skills in:
- general maintenance and operation of chainsaws
- safe and efficient working techniques
- felling trees safely and effectively following WHS and environmental requirements
- assessing trees and surroundings and plan for felling.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Participants must be 16 years old or over.
Competence in Trim and cut felled trees is a prerequisite to attending this course.
This course requires a high level of physical fitness and manual dexterity. If you are unsure whether you meet these requirements, please talk to our short course coordinator before enrolment.
