Enter And Work In Confined Spaces
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Enter and work in confined spaces-RIIWHS202E provides the skills and knowledge required to conduct a quality risk assessment of confined spaces. The course covers all necessary knowledge of site and equipment safety requirements, confined space entry, exit and cleaning procedures, risk, and regulations. It also covers information on air contaminants and toxic gases.
Students will acquire knowledge regarding the documentations of confined spaces, such as confined space equipment application and limitations, identifying the range and scope of work covered by permits, checking that the right type of permit has been issued for the type of work, how to prepare for the work and undertake their work in accordance with the provisions of the permit.
Upon successful completion, students have thorough knowledge of the characteristics, hazards, and legislative requirements of working in confined spaces. This course is designed for workers who issue confined space permits, perform a confined space rescue or undertake gas testing.
