We are all individuals from diverse backgrounds in the workplace and this course will give you a structured process to reflect on your own perspectives on diversity. You will be able to recognise and respect the needs of your colleagues and customers by selecting and using appropriate verbal and non-verbal communication and where misunderstandings may arise from diversity be able to form appropriate responses.

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to work respectfully with people from diverse social and cultural groups and situations, including Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people. This unit applies to all workers.
