Elevated Work Platform Training
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The elevated work platform (EWP) course provides you with the skills and expertise necessary to safely operate a boom-type elevating work platform where the boom is 11 metres or more in length. It can be a telescopic, hinged, or articulated device used to support a platform where workers, materials and equipment may be raised. The training in its current form meets the standards specified in the state and territory licencing and unit of competency requirements.
Participants will learn the fundamental principles of EWP operation, including but not limited to, WHS Legislation, safety procedures, hazard identification, operating techniques, load estimation, communication skills, emergency procedures, maintenance and inspection, and regulatory compliance.
Delivery of this course is completed face-to face with a mix of classroom-based theory training and hands on practical training.

Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- 18 years of age.
