As an approved RTO (Registered Training Organisation), WAM Training’s Electrical Spotter Course is suitable for anyone wanting to become a Certified Electrical Spotter (registered with EnergySafe Victoria). You will be authorised as a safety observer to warn mobile plant operators of their proximity to powerlines and underground assets.

Upon course completion, you’ll be certified as an electrical spotter with EnergySafe Victoria.

Entry requirements

Domestic Students

  • There are no mandated entry requirements.
  • You must be a Victorian resident and at least 18 years of age.
  • Applicants must meet either the Credit Transfer (CT) or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) requirements for HLTAID011 (Provide First Aid).
  • You must have adequate English language skills and numeracy skills to safely complete tasks relating to electrical spotting work.
