Diploma of Visual Arts

Our focus is on quality facilities and links to industry partners to provide stimulating and strong technical and creative expertise in the Visual Arts field. This program is supported with excursions, artist talks and industry links.
Your Visual Arts learning will cover multi-disciplines in art including drawing, painting, sculpture, digital media and illustration. This course will further develop your practical visual arts skills in a variety of traditional and digital media. You will learn to develop conceptual ideas, problem solving techniques, history and theory, sustainability and how to prepare artwork from creation to exhibition.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Admission requirements are completion of BKSB assessment with an outcome of ACSF exit level 2 - working level 3, for both literacy and numeracy, Applicants must be at least 16 years of age at the time of commencement, complete a selection interview, have parental agreement for students under 18 years of age, have satisfactorily completed a minimum of year 12 OR Cert IV in Design or equivalent, students to satisfy eligibility criteria if the candidate wishes to access government funding (VTG, VET Student Loans etc) or student visa application requirements including genuine student requirements.
