Diploma of Leadership and Management
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This course develops the practical skills and knowledge required to succeed in a high level supervisory or middle management role within business, governmental and not-for-profit organisations.
The course is specifically targeted at workers with more than five years work experience who possess the required technical skills and performance history in recent roles, but have been recently promoted, or are being considered for promotion into a leadership position with a degree of authority and autonomy over other personnel and/or organizational processes.
It is expected that students will have an existing level of knowledge and exposure to key facets of leadership and management within their organisation or sector and that the course will seek to build and expand upon that existing knowledge to the required level of competency, where that competency is not already achieved.
