Diploma of Interior Design
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Upgrade your career in design with this high-level qualification that will give you the specialised skills you need to become an interior designer. According to the Australian Government's Job Outlook service, the number of people working as interior designers grew very strongly over the past five years. The industry is projected to see strong growth in the future with around 7,000 job openings expected over the next five years.
Explore and creatively apply the design process to the development of 2D and 3D forms and use computer-aided design (CAD) applications to produce digital models for interior design projects. You'll learn how to work with a client to develop and negotiate a design brief, determine lighting requirements, create colour schemes, and formulate creative design solutions for interior residential spaces. Our teaching staff are the best in the business and will give you the one-on-one guidance needed to prepare you for the future of the industry.
Successful completion of this course will give you the specialised skills to become a qualified interior designer. It will also give you the foundation knowledge needed to undertake further studies in your field.
