Diploma of Information Technology (Web Development)
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The Diploma of Information Technology (Web Development) course is designed to train you in a wide range of web development skills. These skills are required to build and maintain commercial websites and web applications. The course not only covers front-end web development technologies but also covers many back programming and technologies.
You will be exposed to popular technologies in web development such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP/Python MongoDB/MySQL, Linux environment, and Git/GitHub.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Age
- Domestic students must be 16 years or above at the time of application to study at NIT.
- International students must be 18 years or above before the commencement of study at NIT.
Academic
- A minimum of Year 12* or equivalent qualification; or
- Year 11* or equivalent plus either a minimum 1 year of relevant work experience^ or a relevant accredited or non-accredited course; or
- Successful completion of Certificate IV level or a higher qualification
English Language Proficiency
- Overall IELTS band score of 5.5, with no band score less than 5.0; or
- An equivalent score in another English Language Proficiency Test acceptable by National Institute of Technology; or
- An alternative English language proficiency evidence that is acceptable by National Institute of Technology.
