Australian Institute of Advanced Studies
Diploma of Graphic Design
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Graphic designers are the brains behind the visual communication we see every day. Everywhere you look a Graphic Designer has had a hand in shaping our world.
They combine art and technology to create and communicate ideas that inspire, inform and captivate consumers through images, typography and creative composition. Every package, poster or sign you see was developed and created by a Graphic Designer. They create and design our favourite brands, magazines, web sites, and much more. Nearly every business you can think of has some need for a Graphic Designer.
Our Diploma of Graphic Design has been developed to advance your skills in the exciting world of graphic design, digital arts and visual communications. You will learn all aspects of design including digital graphics, pre-press, print, packaging design, drawing, typography and professional web development. You'll use industry software including Affinity Photo, Affinity Designer, Affinity Publisher, and DaVinci Resolve. You will have access to commercial-grade photography and drawing studios and use high-end graphic computer workstations.
Throughout the course you will develop skills through practical exercises and projects in design, web design, photography, production, branding and marketing all the while adding to your professional portfolio.
