Diploma of Government
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This diploma is designed for individuals who have developed interdependent and self-directed work skills in the public sector and want to turn the experience into a formal qualification.
The course will map out on these skills: writing complex documents, developing comprehensive communication strategies, supporting inclusiveness and promoting public sector compliance, while promoting the values and ethos of public service employment.
This course also offers specialisations which include injury management and workplace inspection and policy, which allows individuals to tailor their learning towards their job requirements.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Pathway
The PSP50122 Diploma of Government program is tailored for individuals with substantial experience, skills, and knowledge in government and public administration.
Delivered through RPL, this course offers a streamlined approach to obtaining the qualification by recognising and accrediting your existing expertise on navigating the political landscape, developing and implementing effective policies and programs, and building strong relationships with stakeholders and the community.
RPL allows you to achieve nationally recognised qualifications by converting your existing skills, knowledge, and experience—gained through previous work or study—into formal competencies. This means you can earn qualifications simply by providing evidence of your relevant expertise.
The process can be completed in as little as a week, though it typically takes between 2 weeks – 3 months, depending on the evidence provided. If you have difficulty gathering evidence or prefer additional support, we can streamline the process through interviews and observations.
Average Duration: 12-18 Months
