Learn how to provide information, support and advocacy to assist people in financial difficulty within a social justice framework.

You will learn from experienced financial counsellors, therapeutic counsellors, social workers and community lawyers who are experts in their fields.

In this course you will gain the skills and knowledge required to work as a qualified financial counsellor within community services and community legal organisations supporting people in need.

Financial counsellors have an extensive knowledge of areas of law and policy including consumer credit law, debt enforcement practices, the bankruptcy regime, industry hardship policies and government concession frameworks.
